Default H&S Custom tune...

So as the title states, I am looking at H&S's custom tuning.

This might be a really dumb question, but from those of you who have got it, is it worth it?

I know you can do many things on there, I wouldn't be a person that would want to build one myself. Just because I don't really know how to do it. But I would be looking into purchasing from those who do.

I am running a deleted 2012 cummins, but other then that its all stock. So would it be worth it for me to do?

Or the other option is the Overdrive Transmission tuning...

Thoughts...Ideas....Advice?

Thanks in advance...

On my 08, the Overdrive software was a godsend. I hated how the OE programming had me in 6th gear by about 45 mph, and if I slowed down to 35-40 it would lug along at around 900 rpm. I HATED it, and ended up hitting the range selector to keep it out of 5th and 6th until I hit the highway. With the Overdrive software, I didn't have to.

And as far as the engine programming goes, I think on a deleted but otherwise stock truck it might be a waste of money. Their off the shelf maps are pretty good. On hot days in FL I'd hit the EGT defuel rarely while getting on the freeway WOT.

I also ran 13.8 in the 1/4, but that was after I built my trans and I was running Suncoast Converter's TCM.

The stock trans holds up just fine even running H&S's HOT setting, but I was screwing around power braking in 4high and I melted my underdrive clutches. Moral: don't screw around with close to 1100 lb-ft of torque on tap.
