Swapping Programmers Smarty -> H&S

I Have a 2009 Dodge 6.7 that has a DPF/EGR delete with the smarty programmer and a 2007 6.7 that has DPF/EGR delete with the H&S Programmer.

I want to know the easiest way to swap the programmers without anything stupid happening.

Uninstall both programmers from their trucks (set back to stock software) and then swap them.
