I have a 2002 2500 6 speed trans. The starter went out and I replaced it now all it does is click when I tried to start and when I jump the starter it dosent engage all the way. batteries are all good all the cables running to the starter are good and the motor is not locked up need help on where to go from here.

 

replacement might be bad too...it happens sometimes.
