Ugh!
We have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel, about a week ago we got the water in fuel icon pop up. Immediately we shut the truck down changed the fuel filter, drained the filter and put some sea foam in the truck. We have since changed the MAP sensor the CAM sensor. And it still sounds likes in chocking in the morning. My husband got under the truck this morning and found 3 wires burned and repaired them and the truck sounded ok when he cranked it, when he checked for codes he got an error code P0016. Help!

Removing the terminals doesn't reset the ECM.
Which wires were melted, and how were they repaired? Why did you initially change the sensors? The P0016 is a crank or cam sensor code. Try clearing it and see what happens. These trucks are notorious for acting weird if wires are repaired and such, it throws a whole wrench in everything.
