How is everyone doing?

Going back to EFI Live. Ordered a V2, CSP (5 custom tunes) and a pass-thru switch. Should be here Tuesday. Looking forward to trying it out. Should be a step up from the Smarty Jr. I was using.

should make your truck a lil more fun to drive

my old man is trying to decide whether he wants the H&S mini-maxx or EFI-Live for his 6.7L he just got a month ago...

his problem is: he is never happy with a truck for very long and trades it in for a different one every 1-2 years, and EFI-Live permanently locks to one vin number, so if he trades this truck for a different one, he will have bought a very expensive paper-weight...

I was looking at H&S, but they are expensive as heck right now. They have quit making while they are getting their CARB. The XRT Pro was at $1,000. The V2 with everything was only $200 more.

Depends what type of EFI setup he goes with. You can get the Autocal that is locked to a truck and tuner. You can send it back to the tuner have him unlock it and then send to another tuner if not happy with the first tuner. You may have to buy another license though..around $130.00

$500 more and you can get the V2 which gives you a lot more leeway. You are not locked to just one tuner. You can use anyone's tunes. You can even create your own. It comes with 2 license, so you can tune 2 trucks. I can refer you to a couple tuners to answer your questions.
