Not a Cummins owner but what about the TB? Have cleaned it up? I am assuming that the diesels have throttle bodies and need to be clean every once in a while.

The older Cummins do not have throttle bodies. They have direct injection via mechanical injection pumps or common rail electronic injectors.

The 6.7 Cummins does have a throttle body of sorts, it's there to enable the EGR system to work properly.
