HemiRam1566,

Great choice, the 5.9 Cummins is a workhorse.

Maintenance plays a large part in any vehicle's longevity. I have attached 2 pages from our warranty and scheduled maintenance booklet that provides insight into was is recommended for a vehicle at 204,000km. Also, if you are able to examine any previous maintenance records, it will give you an indication of how the first 204,000km have gone.

Check front wheel bearings, front axle u-joints, ball joints, front driveshaft double-cardan joint (it's got a zerk but a lot of shops don't know/don't care).

Other than that, look for leaks, look for evidence of programmers, and if it's got dual zone climate control, make sure both sides work properly.
