Cool Advice: swapping a 1998 12v with a 1999 24v

Just curious, what all would be involved with this project. I'm swapping out a 1998 5.9 12v with a 1999 5.9 24v from bus. Give me some advice and pointers if you guys dont mind.... PCM, Pump, harness???? What all is universal and what all will i have to swap or replace to be a successful build?? Thanks guys!!

Why?

You're going to need to do something about that 24v not having a vacuum pump, if you want your HVAC controls, cruise control, and CAD actuator to work.

24v's have a vacuum pump.

If it's the same guy that posted on cumminsforum, one of the trucks is 4x4 and the other is not. he wants to build the 4x4 into a race truck and the 2wd as a daily driver... I forget which is which but it sounded like he wanted the 24v to race with? don't really see the point in the swap when a 12v can be built up just the same as a 24v... hell put a race head on it if you're really worried about flow from the valves...

the most powerful performance v8 piston engines in the world only use 2 valves per cylinder... and those are the 10,000hp top fuel dragsters...

He said 24v from bus, which to me sounds like it's a (school) bus, which wouldn't have a vacuum pump.
