Default Starter won't mount

I have an 01 1 ton diesel with a 5 speed went to start it this morning and the starter spun without turning the motor over so I crawled underneath to look and noticed that the ear off of the cover over my flywheel that the starter bolts into was broke off and the top bolt hole was stripped out does anyone know where I can get a new flywheel cover

Try a junk yard. Were you Able to figure out why it broke?

I had a new transmission put in and I'm guessing to transmission shop didn't put any lock tight on the bolts when they put it back in

Got ya. Junk yard would be cheaper option. If you can find one.
