Angry 2007 Dodge 2500 5.9 diesel WIN Mod

Good morning all! so I have just purchased a used 2007 2500 5.9 diesel. so the remote worked till I changed the rubber keys and battery, took it to the local Dealer rapped me over for reprogramming the original key and a additional key I bought through Amazon. Came to pick my truck up! the dealer said Sorry John programming did not take but Im charging you anyways! told me the its because bad key or bad WIN, either way more $$$$$$$$$ grrrrrrrrrrr!
I explained the key will flash the lights and shut the alarm off so what the hell! dealer shrugged and said sorry new dodge key or Win.

so key still works starts truck turns truck off, if I lock door and open with key alarm goes off but remote shuts off alarm and lights flash twice but will not lock or set alarm.

Any thoughts?????

Personally, I don't have a clue. May want to post in the 3rd Gen Ram section though, and see if they can lend any insight.

Welcome to DF!

John,

To make sure I'm understanding your post correctly: the dealership said a new key or WIN module should repair your concern?
