Default Axle Bent? Knuckle Bent??

OK guys I need some help. I had alignment issues with my truck and was told that all four of my ball joints needed to be replaced. Once I tore into the truck I found that on the drivers side front axle, the lower ball joint fits perfect into the lower forged axle tube and knuckle but the upper ball joint and knuckle has a huge gap where you can see the ball stud shaft between the upper forged ear and upper knuckle hole. I must add what caused my alignment issues was the left front bearing seized while driving and caused the wheel to lock around 55mph and the entire front of the truck bounced several times till the bearing unseized. I am seeking advice to see if the axle flange tube is bent possibly or my knuckle could be bent. The upper ear of the axle tube appears to be bent up but I am not sure if its suppose to be like that for alignment purposes or not...Any info/ advice would be helpful...thanks guys.

Those tabs are not supposed to be square. Looks like you got it right.

Thank you so much for your input...I was afraid I was going to do all that work and to find out it was for nothing and needed a thousand dollar axle housing. Thank you again p38251!!
