I need a new complete sending unit for my 95 2500 5.9 Cummins but all I can find are for 1996-97. They look identical but have different part numbers and eBay says it will work in my truck. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a difference between the years?

 

Two things I can think of that might be different - sending unit resistance, and wiring connector.

I understand there's a different part number for short bed vs long bed as well.

At least that was something I came across with my 98.
