Default Up pipes

I got a friend that owns a older Ford 7.3L and needs his up pipe removed and install a new one. What would y'all charge to do the work if u were doing it?

More than any friend of mine could afford.

It's been a number of years since I last thought about that job, but I believe the easy way is to drop the transmission.
