This may sound dumb but I am heading to look at a 3500 5.9 in a week or so. Looking around at all the trucks for sale, some say 5.9 turbo and some just say 5.9 Diesel.

Do all Dodge 2004 3500 5.9l have a turbo?

Just saw the Diesel section so I will repost there.

My diesel experience is pre-powerstroke Fords. they had versions with and without turbo's.

Yep, they all have the turbo, so long as it is the 5.9 diesel, there is also a 5.9 gas engine... which is NOT turboed.

Thank you. I have a Ford diesel so I am not familiar with Dodge. Are there any problem areas I need to look at when I view the truck?

Just the normal stuff you look at on any used vehicle. The cummins engines were notoriously reliable.
