Default 1995 turbo diesel transmission

I have a 1995 dodge 2500 turbo diesel. The trans seems to downshift when hauling a trailer on a slight upgrade. Not all the time. Drops about 200 to 300 RPM and then goes back up. Anyone have this problem and how do you fix it? Thanks in advance.

Actually, that's TCC dropping out. It *might* be normal........ most of the time, if it becomes a real problem, (dropping out with ANY change in pedal position) that's a failing TPS.......
