Default P2122 APP sensor

Hey guys I am new to this site. I am wondering if there is a fix for a vehicle I am working on. It is a 2004 RAM 2500 5.9 Diesel manual trans 6spd. It seems that it is impossible to find a new or even a used APP sensor for it. The sensor for this vehicle is the one that lives under the battery tray on the drivers side of the engine compartment. Wondering if anyone in here knows of another fix for this issue or a replacement part that will replace the original APP sensor. Any help on this would REALLY help!!!

That's throttle pedal position sensor. (accelerator pedal position sensor?? Ok, I could see that as well.)

I think there is more than one as well..... Is your truck drive by wire? Or is there an actual cable between the go-pedal, and the throttle body?
