Anyone in the NM, AZ, or CO area?
We are traveling with the travel trailer through New Mexico on our way to the Pheonix area and through Colorado back to Iowa. We have made the trip a couple of time in the car we have family in arizona. We now have a trailer and the big CTD and wanted to camp a couple of nights in New Mexico and then 3-4 days in Arizona and then a couple of nights in Colorado before heading back to Iowa. Anyone have any ideas on where to camp in these areas.
New Mexico - We were hoping to be somewhere that we could have some mountains and scenery without being to far off our path to Pheonix.
Arizona - We were hoping to be in the area north of Scottsdale like Cave Creek or Rio Verde.
Colorado - Well anywhere I guess we usually end up going through Durango and Pueblo if that helps.
We will be making the trip in the middle to end of March and understand that snow may be a problem getting in the mountains. Any ideas or suggestions?
