No brake lights

Default No brake lights

Got a 2001 ram 2500 24v I have turn signals and running lights no hazards and no brake lights fuses all look good just replaced brake switch didn’t fix the issue…running out of ideas

Download the factory service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W. I believe the brake lights/turn signals use the same filament on the bulb.. so, somethin' strange is goin' on....

Are you getting power to the brake light switch? Are both flasher units good? There is a different flasher relay for the turn signals and flashers. Does your smart switch act funny at times? Your turn signals and flashers go through it. (Turn signal lever.)
