Default TPS problems 2000 24v cummins

So my truck use to have the 47re but I swapped in a NV5600. Back when it was an auto it shifted not the greatest so I replaced the TPS sensor. It was a cheap one off ebay and didnt work go so I put the old one back in. When I did sometimes when I give it low throttle it would cut out like pushing the pedal and nothing would happen until u let off of it and then back on the pedal. Fast forward to today I wanted to finally fix this problem so I ordered a better one online and still was worst I had to push the pedal have way in to just give it low throttle. So I picked up a expressive one at advance auto and it works better still has the cut out though and if im towing or just giving it a lot of throttle its like I have to floor it to just get a little throttle. This thing has me stumped so if anyone knows what might be wrong please let me know. thanks

Do you have a scanner that can read live data? Would be interesting to see what the computer is seeing from the TPS.

yeah i tested it in at my shop for auto mechanics and the sensor is working fine but its only getting 3.5v at full throttle isnt that a little low? I heard it should be around 4.5-5.0v

Opinions vary on that. Theoretically, anything over 3.5 volts is considered WOT...... Specs may be different, and would be worth looking up. Is the linkage good? No slop?

linkage is good its giving me the P0122 code so im guessing its gotta be too low at low throttle which is kicking it back into idle. But still doesnt explain why the throttle would change under load as far as having to push the pedal farther to just start out
