My friend having trouble with transmission he let someone borrow it and they ripped cooling lines off. He put on new lines and refilled with fluids.. Put nothing happens when he puts in gear. He herd that there is a bleeder valve some where in system that he needs to open. But can't find anything in writing that refers to this valve. has anyone herd of anything like this. thanks for any help

There is no bleeder valve on the cooler lines, or anywhere else for the trans either. There is a check valve, but, that is to prevent converter drainback. It would not prevent the trans from working. If it blew all the fluid out, may have smoked the trans..... Also, make sure you are check fluid level in Neutral. Fluid doesn't circulate much in Park. (doesn't charge the torque converter.)
