Default carrier bearing

Howdy, I need to replace the carrier bearing in my 01 Qd-cab as the driveshaft has been shuddering all week. As soothing as the vibrations are on my back, I forked out the 162 bucks for the bearing , and crawled under the truck to take a look at the driveshaft. Problem is, I'm not sure how the support and bearing comes off the driveshaft. I'm assuming I need to mark and remove the middle U-Joint, and unbolt the support, but how then does it slide off the shaft? is there something magic under that dust boot between the two? Anybody?

You will need to remove the entire driveshaft. Starting at the rear pinion working towards the transmission/transfer case.

you will also have to take it to a shop and have the bearing split. unless u have a bearing splitter.
