Did dodge put dca in the coolant from the factory.

I asked this very question. Here is what Cummins teck had to say. DCA's are not required in our engines because they are not a wet sleeve engine. DCA's are used to prevent pitting and electrollisis and the resulting coolant leaks in wet sleeve engines.

The short answer is; No, don't need it.

That's stranger, I work for IH and our v-engines (no sleeves) pit in the cooling jackets if we don't have dca in them. Over time, talkin about 180,000 miles, the block will be no good. Guess It couldn't hurt to have it anyway to keep scale buildup down.
