Default Tranny Help

I have a '94 2500 AT and it seems to not be shifting. Stopped on a hill, I can't get over 5 MPH cuz it won't shift until we break the hill. My husband is trying to do a band adjustment but not sure which bands to adjust. I've searched all over for answers, and we don't have the $$$ to take it in, so does anyone have any info they can share? I'd really appreciate it.

Adjust them both.

The transmission is a 47RH

Make sure he does it in INCH-lbs instead of FOOT-lbs. Some people have made that mistake already and seriously damaged their transmissions.
