tire size on stock rim?
i just bought a 06 2500 cummins yesterday i was wanting mud terrains for it you can put 33's on but for a little more i can get a leveling kit and i can put 35 1250s on with the kit. my question is can i fit 35 1250's on a stock rim? thanks alot
33" on a stock rim with a 2" front leveling kit is the max. If you want to go to a 35" tire you will need a lift kit. Also the stock rims would be at the minimum as far as the with goes.

35's will fit with a 2" leveling kit, but if you have the wheel turned hard and bottom out, you will hit. 33/12.50 is as big as you can go and have no potential to hit or rub anything. that is getting a little iffy with 17x7.5 rims, but it should be OK

You can fit 35x12.5x17 on the stock dodge rim and to be honest, the only rubbing I had was on the control arms without the leveling kit. I'm running BFG M/T in that size and didn't have the leveling kit on for about a week prior to getting it . . . . I have to admit though, the leveling kit makes the truck look A LOT nicer. Don't forget, if you get the leveling kit, you need new shocks (there's not enough room left in the stock ones).
