I saw sometime back were somone was saying they had a thump going over hard bumbs did they find out what it was my 06 has it too. thanks

 

Yeah, I have the bang too. I posted it a few weeks ago and no one has come up with the answer yet. I have checked everything that everyone mentioned. Here is a link to the original post.

If you find out what it is please let me know. I am still at a loss as to what it is. It only does it on pretty hard bumps (pot holes), and I think it is only when the right rear tire hits (that is when I first noticed it).

I was thinking maybe it was under the back seat with the under seat storge since its only held down my a strech strap.

 

have you guys checked for a loose spare tire? that would definately cause a thump.
