Default 06 CTD fuel update

With 3500 on the clock I just returned from another 1000 mile trip.

With a head wind going north it returned 15.5 mpg verified by hand

On the return trip I averaged a little over 16.5 with little to no wind.

Cruise control was set at 75 mph, I have the 3:73 gears, automatic tranny and it turns just under 2100 rpm at the aforementioned speed.

This is actually down from my previous trip north. The first time I had it on an extended trip I was about 17.5 mpg. So I am down a little but the engine runs sooo much smoother. I am not a diesel hot rod junkie so my intentions are to keep it bone stock. I am happy with the mileage as it beats the heck out of the old 92 F-150 12mpg. Other than the loud thump when I hit a bump I absolutely love my truck!
