i cant wait til october, finally be able to get my CTD!!!!! i guess my 5.9 gas guzzler will have to do for right now =/ so yeah, no point for this post, i just check here every day and read anticipating and counting down the days/months....im so jealous of all of you...heh

I did the same thing before I could finally get mine..I'm just over 1000 miles into it....Can't imagine driving anything else now.

 

the first thing that will boggle your mind is the torque. when I burry the throttle into the floor board doing 1600rpm in 5th, my truck begins to shake, the truck leans to the right, turbo hits 35# of pressure by 1700rpm and your planted into the seat. the next thing that will hit you is the fuel mileage, many here are getting close, or right at 20mpg, which for an 8000 pound truck is VERY good since you are basiacly driveing something with the aerodynamics of a 10 foot brick wall

 

Lots of my buddies drive SUV's that don't get 12 MPG.. they are burried in their lease and cry everytime they see me get 19MPG on the HWY. I hear it all the time " lets take your truck "
The CTD from today are so much more efficient. You are going to love it... I garantee it.
