Default Which Programmer to buy

I have a 2000 year 2500 with CTD. Use this currently as a daily driver and occasionally tow a 5th wheel rv and a 16ft utility trailer with various loads (no not at the same time).
I have 33" tires so I also need to reprogram to get the drive ratio corrected.
I'd like to get better mileage (don't we all). I'm not overly interested in pushing the HP/torque to the max, just enough to make towing that rv a bit easier.

So the question are,
Which unit would best suit my needs?
Are there any to avoid because of quality, damage to engine, etc.?

Price will also be a factor.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

Regards, Glenn

Thanks, but I don't think Bully Dog makes a tuner for model years less than '03 does it?

well if your just wanting a programer there are a few out there most about the same price that you can corect the tire/speedo problem but most guys i have heard that run programmers seem to have truble out of them after a year or to and have to replace them if it were me and want just a small boost in power with little to no problems out of tranny/clutchs or egts i would look toward a edge ez box as for the speedo calabation run it buy the local dodge steelership the should be able to re cal it for ya in about 5 min shouldnt cost much
