Default 6.7 Cummins?

When the new Ram comes out, will they bring the power output of the 6.7 up and put it in all the Heavy Duty Rams?

If they do, what do you expect it to be, since the Duramax is 360hp and 650tq?

when the chassis cab came out with the 6.7L 300hp 750tq( I think) it was only a tuned up AG engine. these are just the first runs.

rumor has it that in 07 the 5.9 can still be had in the 3500's, but the 6.7L can also be ordered in the standard truck, the 5.9L will be the only option for the 2500's. then later down the road, maybe a year or so the 6.7 will be the only offering for the 3500, and the 2500 can get the upgrade to the 6.7L.

the chassis cab will be fully 6.7L with either the G56 and 3.73 or 4.10 rear axel, and the new aisan 6spd auto with only 4.10's being the rear axel option.

power output is still unknown, but knowing DC they will want to push it beyond what the current LLY duramax can do, 400hp is possable stock, and maybe 900tq for starters

That seems the nature of DC. Chevy comes out with a 295hp 5.3, and Dodge counters back with a 345hp Hemi.

I hope we can see 400hp out of the 6.7, because the current one actually makes less hp and the same torque as the 5.9.

that looks about right, but to answer your question it is a different block.
