Well I finally did it. I went out today just to look and actually bought a new truck. I traded my 2002 ram 3/4 ton diesel for a new 2006 2500 diesel. I got a really great deal so i think on it. It listed for $43,745 and I got a 3500 rebate on it through chrysler and the dealership just so happened to be running a sale today and had no luck selling any diesel trucks so the salesman was like look we are getting ready to close so since you are the only one wanting a diesel today I will give you an additional 3500 dollars off. So that made the truck $36,745 and I got @14,000 out of my 2002 that had 85000 miles on it. So hopefully all is well. I did get an automatic this time so I hope it holds up ok. Has anyone heard anything bad about the new auto's?? It is a 4 speed by the way. Thanks and I will put up pics soon.

 

Well if yours is any thing like mine I think you will like it a lot. I have gotten 18.1 mpg Hwy & empty out of it so far when it had only 400 miles on it. This last tank I am down to 16.7 but then I do have about 900 lbs in the bed to help break it in .

BTW the mileage is by hand calculator and not the over head computer so I hope it will go up once I get it broke in.
