I use PS every couple of tanks but what is the MMO everyone is talking about. Had a mech. tell me to use a qt. of autotrans fluid everytank but after reading these post don't think I'll take his advise. Plan on using PS every tank also. Ain't good at math so how much do you add to a 35 gal. tank?

 

MMO is Marvel Mystery Oil. Some are mixing it with PS.

 

I get a solid 3 miles to the gallon better useing Drews mix of 8oz MMO and 16oz PS every time i fill up. The two pay for themself at the pump.

 

dont use auto trans fluid. it is acidic and will eat the pump and injectors up.

16oz PS and 8 oz MMO is all you need to keep the injector pump, injectors, and engine happy, and with the new ULSD that will be showing up soon, your VP44 pump will need all the lubrication you can give it

 

I also got a solid 2.4 MPG better using the PSD/MMO mix on my last tank, I was happily surprised!

 

OK, so what is PS and PSD? Newbie to CTD, and all diesel for that matter.

Some say use the gray bottle, some say use the white bottle. What is the difference and which on works the best?

 

I've always used the white bottle and had good results.....always keep a bottle in the tool-box just for a lil' peace of mind
