I think it is some way to take vegi oil and burn it, but it is by useing these tablets or something.

I'm realy not sure, I do know you can burn B100 in these trucks no problem and that is actualy a better route to go, or WVO

Drew,

I'm currently a 98 Ram 1500 owner and getting ready to upgrade, hopefully in July, to an 06 CTD 1-ton. I noticed that you said the CTD will burn B100 without a problem. But Cummins only will back the warranty on the engines only up to B20. I guess my question is this: Does the 06 CTD have the necessary heaters to keep the B100 from gelling up? Or do extra heaters have to be installed?

there is a heater in the fuel filter canister but not one in the fuel tank.

in my area it doesnt get cold enough for B100 to realy get good and gelled up, but you can add a blanket to the tank to keep it fluid

yes, Cummins will only warranty up to B20. But you can run B100 without any problems since the fuel lines and seals are not rubber since Bio will eat rubber lines and seals

That's the problem where I live currently here in Ely. During the winter (usually January, but sometimes December), it does drop down to -40 at night. Gelling is a big concern. Presuming I move to Carson City which I'm trying to, the lower temp extreme won't usually be THAT bad, but I believe it will still cause gel problems, at least during the winters. I would LOVE to run B100 but will probably wait until it's broken in a bit before running the higher veggie mix in it.

My other question is what should I be concerned with in regards to the '06 CTD 1-tons? Anything special to watch out for or worry about?
