Just returned from my trip to my parents. From Ft. Hood Texas to central La. (about 7 hrs drive), I averaged 17mpg. My speed was between 80 and 85 all the way and my wife packed everything, including the kitchen sink. The back seat and the bed was full. I changed the mix to 16oz MMO and 16oz of Diesel Clean from 4oz MMO and 16oz Diesel Clean. The 17 mpg was on the way there and I changed the mix for the ride home, I didn't do the mielage for the trip though (stupid, I know). I did notice that the engine runs even smoother and quieter than before, at 85 mph, it has a good clean singin sound to it, and it doesn't downshift as much as before. Now when i press the pedal, it just squats down and goes, and of course the light trail of black smoke.

 

not everyone will have the exact same proportions. my sweeet spot is at 16-8. others are a bit more or less.
