Default 2500 quad pricing help!

hey guys, need some help.

Im looking at a 2500 quadcab CTD longbed big horn edition. Dealer window price is 42,905. Per edmunds.com, with all the same equipment, the TMV is 38,234 (is using the TMV a good base for pricing?). Then figuring Dodge employee pricing (started today) of 6,000 off (per Dodge website), plus 1,500 cash allow, that is 30,734. Does that seem correct? This is my first time buying a vehicle so any help that you have would be great!

(Also have a trade-in of 1400 plus 3000 down, so would ~26,000 +- sound like something possible before tax, doc, lic.?)

Thanks!

Employee pricing is typically Invoice (-) 1%

I have a 2006 CTD 2500 Thunderroad 4X4 SLT with the following:
[ul][*] Cloth Bucket seats $1000[*] Light Groupl $180[*] Protection Group $45[*] Thunder Road Value group $1295[*] 4-Speed Auto Tran $1095[*] Elect. Shift-on-fly T.C. $245[*] Antispin Diff $285[*] 5.9 HO CTD 11.50 rear $5555[*] Fold away mirrors $100[*] Clearance Lamps $80[*] Under Rail Bedliner $245[*] Destination Charge $900[*] TOTALING $44175
[/ul]

There was a $2500 rebate and a $1000 loyalty rebate at the time I purchased this truck. One and a half days of nagotiating and I got the truck for just under $36000.00 plus TTT

My dad and uncle both have 05 qc 4X4s with automatics . Dads ran around 36,500 its got the sport larmie package. My Uncles is a slt and he paid around 33,500 . thats in texas but i think it would be a good deal anywhere from 33,000 to 36,000. Like I said thats in Texas might be alittle more or less depending on where you live. Hope that helps some...

thanks for the two replies so far.

I was figuring the employee discount per the dodge website. Is that about right or does anyone know a better way to set it up.

Thanks

(I'm heading to the dealership on Monday, got burned by a different dealer on Friday. They didn't have the courtesy to call me once they figured out that they figured my monthly payments incorrectly. Took off work early and drove an hour to go get a truck and came home empty handed. They lost the deal and I was pissed!)

At the end of May I bought mine. It is a 2006 2500 CTD Quadcab 4x4 TRX4 (off road package- suspension, tires), SLT, my truck has the full center console, not the fold down console on the bench seat (which I hate), bedliner. I paid $34,400. The only thing I didnt get that I wanted was the roof lights. They are easy to do aftermarkert though, so Im thinking about it.
