with the tranny which one do you have, NV5600 or the G56. to tell the two apart reverse on the NV5600 is by 5th gear, the G56 is next to 2nd.

front diff is about half a gallon, rear diff is 3/4 gallon 75w90 severe gear, engine is 3 gallons 15w-40(and make sure to fill the filter before screwing it on). and the transfer has a half gallon.

now, the NV5600 is picky on oil, so if your going amsoil get the 5w-30 MTF that oil is made JUST for the NV5600 5 quarts BTW, the G56 I'm not sure. . .I'll need to do some searching

You can find it on Amsoil's Online Application Guide. Scroll all the way to the bottom for your quantity.

Hey Drew, I thought you weren't supposed to use ANYTHING other than the special oil you can only buy from Chrysler in the NV5600???

BTW, the G56 I'm not sure. . .I'll need to do some searching
ATF+4 (as per the 2005 and 2006 service manuals). I've found that ATF+4 is now more widely available. Valvoline Fully-Synthetic ATF+4 is available at my local Autozone for just under $4/quart. Mopar-brand ATF+4 is available at my local Wal*Mart (of all places) for $4.50/quart.

Bob, as long as it meets or exceeds manufacturer specs, all is good, and this stuff is specialy made for the NV5600, NV3500, NV3550 and other New Venture tranny's that use MTF 5W-30. from what I have read online I havent heard of any problems useing it, and many have noticed better performance. Infact, to go along with what has been said, my 6 spd shifts SSSSSOOOOOOO much smoother and certian tranny noises that I had come custom to have gone away.

James, thanks, I wasnt sure it was ATF+4, I thought it was but wasnt going to lie.
