Default removing radio

Does anyone know how to remove the radio from a 2006 Dodge Ram 2006 Cummins Diesel? I want to put a different one in.

Jess,

I had the dealer take mine out. They charged me about $85-100 I think to swap it out with a nav unit. I was afraid to narl up the dash.

Now having said that,.......Rustproof, would you happen to be lookin for a radio...?

I know this isnt the place to advertise but I thought since you were askin I have a stock 6 disc changer with Sirius Sat. I took out of my '06 just sittin in a box around the house lonley for a home

the bezel pulls right off... from where the cig lighter is to the glovebox, the whole piece unsnaps real easy. I swapped out y own radio in about 1 hour, that inlcuded going to the stereo shop for an install kit which you'll need. IIRC, the a/c heater controller also comes out with it.

to get it off all you'll need to do is open the glovebox and pull gently and it'll start poping off, then just work your way around it and you'll have it off in under a minute.
