I have a 1997 2500 series Ram. The truck runs fine, but the tachometer and the cruise have started to act up. The tach "twitches" erratically (especially around 1800 rpm. The needle drops to a lower rpm) and the cruise control will cut out. Both of these problems started occuring at the same time. The truck does have tilt steering. I have had the dash apart to check for cracked wires but I could not find any. The truck also has a comand start installed on it. I removed the fuses from the comand start and the tach and cruise problem seemed to be solved for a short time, but they have since resurfaced. HELP ME PLEASE!
