Can now "build your own" on the Dodge site, checked it out today. $7,100, diesel and auto, with a $995 discount shown. Don't know what the discount is yet...

Per the (civilian) Dodge site, it showsflat $6100 option (vs. $5605 for 5.9),

I'm confused, the Dodge site shows the the same HP and torque for both the 5.9 and the 6.7 so.....??

"produces 610 pounds-feet of torque at 1,600 RPM and 325 horsepower at 2,900 RPM from 6.7 liters of displacement. "

"produces 610 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 RPM and 325 horsepower at 2,900 RPM from 5.9 liters of displacement."

things still arent quite right with the site. . .I can tell you the CC 6.7L is 305hp and 610tq. . .normaly what happens is the comercial fleet are detuned about 45hp for longevity, the 6.7L that will be put into consumer buy's should be around 350hp and 650tq.

Bear in mind, the 6.7 has a whole lot more emission controls-----even down to a particulate filter in the exhaust system. Horsepower and torque are measured at the crank so maybe this is the RWHP. Who knows---anyone talked to an owner yet?

Once again Only the 6.7L will have all the extra EPA smog crap & particulate filter on it. IIRC no 5.9L ever made has had particulate filter in the exhaust system. I hope the trucks with the 6.7L will be called a 2007.5 so people better understand and will know what trucks do and don't have the extra smog junk on them.
