hello all


some of you Ive seen over in the 2nd gen forum. But I sold my 98 lifted gasser and got a 04 qd cab cummins.

Ive wanted a deisel for the longest time and had given up on being able to afford one until I caught this one just being delivered to the dealership. THey gave me $6k form my 98 so I couldnt pass it up.

Im very happy with it and love the 19-22 mpg.

I'll be reading alot before I ask questions so I'll be a lurker for a while.

congrats on the switch... any pics of it?

 

tonight I planned on taking some pictures.

I have tons of mods I want to do to it but I made the dealer extend the bumper to bumper warranty for me for no charge. So basically I have 7yrs 70K bumper to bumper. The truck will be under warranty for as long as I have a payment on it.
I'd hate to do a mod that would negate my warranty.

 

How'd you get them to do that?

navigation, mall terrains, 4:10 gears ect ect

the dealer didnt even have the sticker on it yet. they mis quoted and said it was for sale for $24,999 because it had some scratches and the inside of the tail gate was dented.

I told him if its for that price get me a plate and I'll drive it and we'll talk numbers.
they gave me $6k for my truck and I got 4 new tires, got them to pay half of a 4yr 70k bumper to bumper warranty and some bed rails.

I told them if they do it I'll sign papers right then and there. Wehn they gave the run around I stood up and I told them to call me when they get something else like this.

Then they some how came up with the numbers I wanted

 

7yr/70k is standard on all dodges up to the 05's thats what they come with from the factory and your motor is good to 100k

 

no the factory warranty is 7yr 70k on the drive terrain. motor, tranny, differentials.

I got the 5,000 point coverage for 7yr 70k. the original warranty is 3yr 36k. I got it extended for 4 more years and 35k more.
and the lube for life.

 

which motor does it have? Nice looking truck. you are missing something though... mud/dirt on the sides, underneath lol

 

its got the 5.9 HO
