dude, my truck is a whole new animal.... if I wasnt so interested in mpg #'s i'd have my afe back on there. I cant wait to see how it's going to perform with it on there. I have 2 long distance trips coming up so the stock box is going to stay for now

mileage update... keep in mind this is with a lead foot.... 14.3 mpg. ouch! but hey, I had fun getting there! as I mentioned earlier, i'm leaving sat morning on a road trip... I'll have to fill it back up Friday night (I think) before the trip and will do my best to keep my foot out of it.

BTW, before the fillup tonight, I poped the edge up to #3 (i'm usually on #1) and the truck just about snaped my head back... ok slight exaduration (sp?) but it is hella strong.

Steve, i got the edge setup also with a k&n intake and straight pipe from the turbo back. On the edge i have my boost alert on 37 and if i put it in the floor the alarm comes on every time within a couple of seconds. Does your alarm come on like that or do you think i just dont have enough back pressure. Im thinking about putting my stock airbox back on and seeing if that helps any.

that will fix it, however the better way to fix it is to bump the alarm & boost levels up to 40. you wont have an issue at that point. that's where mine are now.

USAFR,

Thanks for the input......The Aero seems like the best combination of flow and back pressure that I've seen on the market. And the use of sound wave cancellation over packing material is much better for longevity and sound retention over that time.

The ATS intake that STEVE00RAM360 raves about seems to be the ticket as well......

My mod list is getting bigger all the time!
