Default wix fuel filter

i have used wix air filters in my tractors in the past. it is time to change the fuel filter in my 04 ctd. does anyone, or has anyone used a wix fuel filter in these trucks? i just moved out to the country and it is about a 30-40 mile drive just to get to a dodge dealership. all of the "country parts stores" carry wix. thanks!

I dont think there would be anything wrong useing a wix fuel filter. now their oil filters I would be sceptical about.

if you want some fleetguard filters at a good price hit up Geno's Garage

I hope this doesn't start a brand war... but I almost bought a wix at the parts store. I looked inside the box while I was at the counter, but just after paying. The filter had a lot of loose material that was surely going to end up in the fuel system..so I got my money back..

Maybe I got a bad one. If you buy one, look it over carefully.

Fleetgard is owned by cummins, and recommended by them for their engines. If somthing dies realted to the fuel filter and they try to deny my warranty, I'll just pull out my fleetguard filter receipt. Good enough reason for me.

Drew, i went to Genos. Is the correct fuel filter p/n for my truck FS19800E. It does not show the engine just says 00-06 dodge. If that is the one I am lovin this truck already. Fuel filters for my old truck were $100 at dealer, $35-$55 commercially. What a sweet deal.

I have always used the wix fuel filters. As an Amsoil dealer we get them at a good price. Much better that the dealer, and a better filter. I don't use them anymore only because the FASS has a filter on it.
