Yeah I have a kodak easy share (kinda ironic). all of my pics are anywhere from 980 kb to 1.71 mb so I know that they are too big if you find out how to make them smaller than 300 kb will you let me know.

Allright heres the simplest way to do it and they look great after the resize and its only a few button clicks away. Step 1) go here and download ifranveiw 3.98 its a free software used for image veiwing/ resize/ anytihgn else you can thinck of. http://www.download.com/IrfanView/30...=dl&tag=button step 2) install and open it 3)step 3 go to file go down to open find the picture you want to open, open it. The pic will come up in the blank screen area. Step 4) Go to the image tab which is right next to the edit tab click the image tab follow the drop down menu to Resize/Resample it will bring a littel window up (you can then manuely enter the parrameters you want) or you can do it even easyer and select the predesinated 1s on the right hand side under (some standered dimensions label) You can also click the half button and it will down size the pic to half the origonal size. Then 1s your satisfied just save it as a new file (not as origonal or you will lose the origonal file) and then post it up. Enjoy its really easy and fast you wont use anything else to reisize agian.

I tried the infraview before but it wouldn't shrink them enough. the kodak software program downsizes the pics, but the file size is still too large. i can attach them to e-mails and i have also uploaded pictures to other sites with no problem. I wonder if its just a Kodak thing maybe not compatable with this site.

Hiredgun,, I figured it out last nite. My comp uses Jasc Paint Shop Photo, but the one that titan2807 suggests is fine. I was just having a blonde moment with it and played with it until I figured it out.
