Default Fuel tank vent mod

Drew,

I've seen you mention this vent mod a couple times to get an extra 5 gallons in the tank. Do you have a link to any instructions of pictures? Is it just drilling a new vent hole in a different spot on the tank?

in order to do this you have to either 1. drop the tank, or 2 pull the bed. dropping the tank is usualy easier to do than removeing the bed. Here is the link to the vent mod itself.

once you have the tank dropped, or the bed pulled you have to drill a hole in the bulge at the back of the tank, that is where this mod attaches and this is also where you get the extra capacity, plus the fuel doesnt bubble up as much. This bulge in the back of the tank is for the expansion of gasoline in the tank, diesel doesnt expand like gas does so we can make use of this area
