Default where is the break 1 gen 2 gen 3 gen

not use to the terminoligy 1 generation 2nd gen 3rd gen , there must be a reason for this madness [sm=dontgetit.gif]

1st Gen is pre 94
2nd Gen is 94-02(2500 and 3500) 94-01 (1500)
3rd is 03-present(2500 and 3500) 02-present (1500)

Someone please correct me if im wrong

you got it right Rob.

you can also track generations by when changes in the engine happened.

1st gens ran the Bosch VE distributer style pump, 2nd gens 94-98.4 ran the P7100, for the 98 year refresh of the body style and in 98.5 the VP44 pump was used, then in 03 when the 3rd gen body style was introduced you see the HPCR engines.

The body style is the real difference.
