Default Failed WA state emisions M

Went to emisions testing today and failed the opacity test 59 out of 40. My truck is a 12v with no cat and no muffler with just under 250k miles. Im not sure what to do or check first, possibly pump timing? I also am running "drews brew" and was wondering if the extra MMO was causeing too much smoke. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice id appriciate your help.

Try running some bio-diesel, say b20 or greater. It is supposed to lower emissions. Also I would run most of the existing fuel out and not use additive, make sure you have a clean air filter and run the hell out of it before you go for testing.

you might have some carbon buildup on the injectors and in the CC... you might try running a larger amount of PSD with a smaller amount of fuel and find a big *** hill to go up a few times... the goal to be building up boost to blow out the carbon & clean the injectors. it should do better I would think...

you might want to get the timeing checked out and make sure it is right, then you might want to back the star wheel in the pump back and slide the fueling plate around a bit to adjust fueling.

since your in the washington state area see if you can hook up with someone from the NW Bombers. these guys can do some amazing stuff and will probably help you out while splitting a 6 pack

Having to have a $50.00 DEQ check was one more reason I moved away from the Oregon to IA, that and cheaper fuel & living cost.
