Default question for drew or anyone who could answer it??????

Drew.. does the edge product (juice with attidue) work the same as the tst as far as it only changes timing and length of injector opening or does it raise the fuel pressure? And does that go for all the settings on the Edge? Another question is how do you get info on exactly how the boxs raise the power?

I've got the edge w/attitude... it only raises the pressure on the top 2 settings, 4 & 5. on anything above setting 1/1 to my knowledge and experience with it, it will add fuel. which may not be a bad thing as long as it's not too much. for each level of performance setting there is 5 sub-settings that will allow you to set the low boost fueling. 1 being the lowest, 5 being the highest... so to clarify it, it looks like this...

1/1 1/2 1/3 1/4 1/5 (settings 1-5 being the low boost fueling)
2/1 2/2 2/3 2/4 2/5
.
.
5/1 5/2 5/3 5/4 5/5 (5/5 would be the race setting with the max low boost fueling.

hope that makes sense...

TST does not do any rail pressure increase, the edge box does though.

1/1 on the TST gives you 35 more hp and 60tq, every setting after that on the hp will give a 20hp increase the torque setting give 60 every time you go up and it has 9hp and tq settings, 0 being stock. so you effectively have about 100 different combinations of hp and tq settings you can do

Ive been up to 9/9 once, and only once. EGT's shot past 1400, clutch sliped with only a blip of the throttle, turbo barked, and I shut an intersection down for about 2 min while the cloud cleared off engine rpm's were only at 1500 when I gave her a little juice

in my mind, any box that raises the rail pressure on the lower settings will blow injectors if your not carefull. the egde box raises the rail pressure on lower settings, but is very cautious at how much it does increase it. the quad box only raises rail pressure on the highest setting only to shove more fuel into the cylinders.

there is a programmer that I probably would have gotten if I didnt get my TST at such a good deal, the Smarty tuner, check it out, it is VERY impressive.

I'll have to find my matrix to see, but from what I have read many prople that stack boxes use the edge on 1 to get a little extra fuel pressure, TST for timeing and duration, and a downloader for everything else

humm, interesting...

well I looked at the TST site for the PowermaxCR R49 and that is hella cool. I like how you have alot of control over the setup... timing, low end boost, upper end boost etc... its a box that can work with your mods when you want to go more agressive... bigger turbo or duals etc... pretty slick!

alright, I found an older list of what some of the better know boxes do and their ability to stack with one another. I have a better list somewhere, but the list that is linked through this is alright and there is some GOOD reading for the weekend here as well.

Fueling Box Summary
