Anyone got any on there newer truck? I have an 05 with 33s and the side of the truck is now all scratched up. Looking at the bushwacker ones? Any suggestions

You might check out "Magnetic Truck Shields".

I have not tried these, so I can't say if they are good or bad. I'm considering them.

If you try them I would strongly suggest the truck be VERY clean before you put them on and rinsed well before taking them off, otherwise dust will scratch your paint during the process of install and removal.

I have the ATS flares and love them... only down side i've seen so far is the rears are not sticking well enough to the double back tape. probably because they didnt get cleaned well enough on installation... (my son did it... that's my story & i'm sticking to it... but really he's the one who cleaned the rears)... the fronts are fine.

edit: btw, the fronts rub slightly so they needed to be trimmed... by the firewall

I had a set of Bushwackers on my 05 and they were OK and stayed on through a car wash. I like the looks of the ATS better so I will try them out on my truck, that is once I save some $0.01 [&o]

BTW if recall the ATS are already painted to match your truck and with Bushwacker you have to paint them after you buy them unless you like them the color they come in, dull Black.

I bought mine on e-bay and had the guy paint them to match the truck. they are not painted otherwise. IIRC $470 was the cost to ship it to my door. It did include tax since we were in the same state. took about 10 business days before they arrived

aw man! the open county was my next choice... I'm probably going to go with the toyo MT's as it's a 10 ply tire.

mine are 325 60-18's and they are the pro comp extreme AT's...

oops I missed the true meaning of the question spdblt... I think you were also asking about the wheels.. they are moto metal 951's and are 18x9's or 18x10's. I bought the tires & wheels from someone who was going to trade in their truck so I got them cheep plus my rims & tires. ($1000 bux). the package, acording to the receipt he gave me was on his truck for less than 3 weeks and cost him over $2400 bux. So, I think i got a hellova deal.

I may buy another set of these tires if they hold up well (which they are so far... almost 20k on them and they look pretty good), otherwise it'll be either the toyo MT's or the AT's...

Steve,

At the below URL I can buy them painted to match my 06 truck for $399.95 plus $39 S/H. You can buy the 2002-2005 black unpainted for $259.95.
