Default leveling kits

I just ordered a 2 inch leveling kit that still allows the use of the stock shocks and only changes the setting about a 1/4 of a degree has anyone experienced shacking or wobbeling with this installed or had to have the truck re-alighned. When i put the 18 inch tires on I don't really have that much room for when I start carrying the plow around this winter thats why I ordered it, plus if I wanna go any bigger on the tire size it isn't gonna work without the kit.

I put a 2" leveling kit on mine, got it from Hell Bent Steel. I would STRONGLY suggest getting the alignment checked after you install this. I had mine checked the next day, and the guy said that it was off, not bad but it was off. Since the install (did it myself) I have'nt had any problems or noticed any vibration or noise of anykind. If your gonna do it yourself, lemme know, maybe I offer a couple suggestions that will save you a little headache.

The alignment isnt much, from $45 to $60, depending on where you go. All they really do is set the toe in, that adjust your tires so they are not pointing in or out, which will cause premature wear. These pics show where I disconnected the trac bar, this is pretty much a must in order to get the carriage to drop low enough to get the spring out. Also, go to a parts store, and rent a set of spring compressors, they should cost nothing (I put down $40 and got it all back upon return) and this will make it easier to get the spring out. Other than that, just be sure and use jack stands, be safe,, and a hudraulic jack make it easier.
