Yup, worth every penny from my stand point... here's why.
with the stock manifold in place, the AFE proguard setup in and the 30" magnaflow installed, no programming (edge on 1) the low end loss was pretty significant (my opinion). daily driving was not as fun or quick from light to light or freeway on-ramps. passing was a little on the white knuckle side (really had to make sure you had enough room on 2 lane hiways). Add the edge on 1 programming and now it's much better.
now with the same setup (no edge) with the ATS intake in its place, city driving is much improved, on-rams are once again fun and passing on the 2 lane hiways are not so white knuckle anymore. they claim +50 ft lbs of tq at ~1775 rpms and I believe it (no personal dyno run to back it up but the butt dyno agrees). now add the edge on #1 setting and the motor really wakes up. passing is now a breeze with the edge on #1 (go to 3 and its significantly better, I only go to 3 occasionally).
on a truck with stock intake & exhaust, you should notice a nice gain below 2300~2500 rpms.
Worth it!
one thing to note... with the proguard filter on I loose 1 mpg consistantly, however my turbo spools up into the 20's very easily and quickly. I have never really been able to keep my foot out of it long enough to see what kind of mileage I could get with the free flowing setup. last tank I got 14.03 mpg with me romping on it alot, my overhead comp read mid 17's (consistantly 3.5 mpg high), this tank i'm going to try to keep my foot out of it to get a good comparison so I'll post back in this thread with the #'s.

That was some pretty cool reading.
Two of the things that caught my eye were that every 1mph over 55 = 0.1 mpg loss. ( that explains a lot ... LOL )
The other was that WORN tires get better mileage than new ones. That kinda surprised me because I always thought the opposite.
