Wierd AC question ...
Vent is three clicks clockwise from the setting in your picture. St. Soot (DieselDemon) sounds like he knows a/c better than me. But what little I do know agrees with him.

I would have to agree with the condensor freezing.
You will only get a good high/low side reading if you do it when the truck is first started. Before icing has time to occur. First AC run of the day.
I would also think that you losing the air flow from the vent is due to freezing. If this happens again before you get a chance to fix it, turn the blower on it's highest setting. Try to listen and notice if the fan sounds like it going super fast. Like when you plug the end of a shop vac hose. You hear the motor rev up a little cause it's working harder than normal.

The fan motor DOES sound like it's working overtime when the vent seems clogged, so I'm sure you're right. Should I start with having the freon checked, or with finding where the fan motor is?
Simple and free stuff first.
Check the drain first you know where water drips under the truck when using a/c. Make sure it is draining properly. You can pour some water into the vents on the outside in front of the windshield. It should come out under the truck. Then look for the fan motor and see if you can clean like Diesel Demon said. Then if that doesn't help have someone check refrigerant level and for leaks. Good luck.
